About B.M.S.T. BMST—Bettering Me Starts Today—was created in 2022 as a reminder that tomorrow doesn’t exist. Only today does. Born from my lived experience as a wounded warrior, combat veteran, and trauma therapist navigating PTSD, depression, and anxiety, BMST represents the choice to stop postponing self-care and start healing now. It became the foundation for both this brand and the mission of my mental health private practice. The BMST logo reflects this truth: the heart at the center represents self-care and healing, while the surrounding leaves symbolize the people and demands around us.
